PIONEERS

PIONEERS is a miniature skirmish game for 2-4 players.

The game takes place on the alien planet of Sundew. One side are the Riders, colonists from the dead Earth who ride and protect mobile harvesting platforms. The raw materials they gather is the only thing keeping their damaged colony ship in orbit.

Fighting them are the Natives, the first wave of colonists who rapidly evolved to suit the planet's environments. They now resemble humanoid creatures of the jungle, who fight to stop the Riders from destroying their homes. 

GREEN JAM:

PIONEERS brings in the color green through the lush green jungles the game takes place in. 

This is my first skirmish game and so it's a rather stripped-back version of what one would usually look like. Mechanics are designed to be simple and accessible; fighters only have 3 statistics, for example.
